By downloading, accessing, or using the KonguKalyanam mobile application ("App," "Service," or "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

KonguKalyanam is a matrimonial platform designed to help individuals find suitable life partners within the Kongu community and beyond. We provide matchmaking services, profile management, and communication tools to facilitate meaningful connections.

Eligibility and user requirements
3.1 Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service
You must be legally eligible to enter into marriage under applicable laws
Users under 18 are strictly prohibited from using this platform
3.2 Verification requirements
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information
We reserve the right to verify the information provided and may request additional documentation
3.3 Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are liable for all activities that occur under your account

User registration and profile creation
4.1 Registration process
Registration requires a valid email address and/or phone number
You must complete the profile creation process to access full features
We may use SMS or email verification for account security
4.2 Profile information
You must provide truthful and accurate information about yourself
Profile photos must be genuine, recent, and appropriate
You may upload multiple photos including profile photos, horoscope (jadhagam), and educational certificates
False information or misrepresentation may result in account termination

Your profile will be visible to other verified users based on compatibility and preferences
You can control certain privacy settings but cannot guarantee complete privacy
Your online status and last active time may be visible to other users

Acceptable use policy
5.1 Permitted uses
Creating a genuine profile to find a life partner
Communicating respectfully with other users
Using matchmaking and search features appropriately
Reporting inappropriate behavior or content
5.2 Prohibited activities
You agree NOT to:
Create fake, misleading, or fraudulent profiles
Use the platform for commercial purposes or spam
Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users
Share inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
Attempt to bypass security measures or hack the platform
Copy, scrape, or download user data without permission
Use the service if you are already married (unless seeking remarriage legally)
Share personal contact information in public profile sections
Solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users
Use the platform for any illegal activities
5.3 Content guidelines
Profile photos must be appropriate and decent
Written content must be respectful and honest
No nudity, violence, or offensive imagery
Religious or cultural content should be respectful

We reserve the right to monitor communications for safety and compliance
Inappropriate messages may result in account restrictions

Users can send and receive interest requests
Response to interests is voluntary and at user discretion
Rejection of interests should be accepted gracefully
6.3 Contact information sharing
Contact information sharing is subject to platform rules and limitations

Misuse of contact information may result in account termination

Premium features and payments

8.2 Refund policy
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable

8.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
Users can manage subscriptions through their account settings or app store

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts created with false information, accounts used to harass other members, or accounts flagged for inappropriate content. Users may request account deletion at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.
